CO-CAT Participating Institutions Share Experiences from the Co-Creation Journey

As climate change continues to affect development, livelihoods, ecosystems, and communities across Africa, universities and research institutions have an increasingly important role to play in generating knowledge, informing policy, and supporting effective climate adaptation responses.

As part of the collaborative effort to develop a tool for strengthening institutional capacity for climate adaptation research, representatives from participating institutions shared their experiences and reflections during the regional convening in Kenya. Their insights highlighted the importance of peer learning, collaboration, and co-creation in shaping a tool that reflects the realities and needs of African universities and research institutions.
