How CLARE research drives climate resilience
/
Climate change is already reshaping lives and livelihoods across Africa and the Asia-Pacific. The challenge is not only contributing to innovative climate research but ensuring that evidence leads to practical action by decision-makers.
Since 2022, the CLARE programme has worked to meet this challenge by supporting Southern-led climate adaptation research that contributes to systemic resilience in a changing climate.
CLARE has worked with more than 170 partners, co-developed 51 climate solutions, generated more than 100 outputs and publications, and engaged over 11,500 people in capacity-strengthening activities.
CLARE is driving change by influencing policy, developing climate adaptation solutions, and strengthening capacities. Explore the impact of CLARE in these snapshots of how evidence from CLARE is enabling inclusive and sustainable climate resilience:
Building on these results, more examples of impact are expected to emerge from across the CLARE portfolio. Keep an eye on the impact section of our website for richer stories of how CLARE work is driving climate resilience for the most vulnerable across Africa and the Asia-Pacific.
