In May 2025, the CLARE R4I Opportunities Fund hosted a learning exchange between senior government officials from Nairobi, Kenya and their counterparts in Rajkot, India to explore the successful implementation of urban heat health prevention measures in India. These forms of prevention offer possibilities for similar implementation in Nairobi as the region’s temperatures continue to steadily rise.

This project showcases the importance and benefits of cross-border knowledge exchange as the effects of climate change increasingly impacts nations worldwide.
