Over the last quarter, we’ve had the opportunity to take stock of many examples of real-world impact from across the CLARE programme. Across Africa and the Asia-Pacific, CLARE research is driving inclusive and sustainable climate resilience for the most vulnerable.
Our latest reporting period has given us the numbers to support that claim: to date, CLARE work has enabled over 95 Southern-led climate solutions. Some of these solutions are brought to life through the Stories of Change series. From scaling community-based early warning systems to informing climate displacement planning across a coalition of countries, these stories highlight the diversity of work being undertaken across the CLARE portfolio, connected by the common thread of driving climate resilience across the Global South. Follow our social channels to stay up to date with the Stories of Change, and visit the impact section of our website for the full series.
In September, the global CLARE community had the opportunity to come together at CLARExchange 2026, which was organized around the theme “Celebrating and sustaining our impact”. CLARExchange 2026 was more than an opportunity to present research and project results — it created space to reflect on CLARE’s collective contributions and how their impact can continue beyond individual projects..
The CLARE public webinar series has provided more opportunities to highlight examples of impact and put vital insights from CLARE projects into the hands of knowledge users. Running until November, the webinars are an opportunity to discover learnings from across the CLARE community.
The momentum we gathered during this quarter will continue through to the end of the year, which will see major milestones such as COP31 in Türkiye. Keep an eye on your inbox, as we’ll be sharing a special edition of this newsletter to capture all the CLARE activity planned for COP31.
